Northern Star alumni from the late 1950s and early 1960s are invited to a reunion Oct. 7-8 at NIU. The event is being organized by Al Erisman, ’62, and new Hall of Famer Chuck Shriver, ’62.
Here’s a tentative schedule:
Friday, Oct. 7
Approximately 5 to 7 p.m.: Informal get re-acquainted reception at a hotel in the DeKalb area.Saturday, Oct. 8
- Mid to late morning: Tour the Northern Star’s offices and meet with current students and advisers. Demonstration of new technology.
- Lunch at Holmes Student Center
- Afternoon: Walking tour of the campus. What’s new in the past 40 years?
- Tour of the Convocation Center.
- Evening: Reception and dinner somewhere in the DeKalb area.
