Summer Music: Rihanna
By Herminia Irizarry
Last updated on 00/00/0000 at 12:00 a.m.

Off her new album, “Good Girl Gone Bad”, Rihanna’s “Umbrella”, which features Jay-Z, rocked the pop charts this summer.

As a result of this success, the album was overplayed on virtually every Top 40 radio station across the country.

The song is cleverly written and the lyrics are incredibly catchy, but Rihanna’s signature whine is all you hear when she sings.

Her deep and nasally voice has ruined yet another song. Still, she remains plastered all over radio station playlists.

With “Umbrella” still on the radio, more rainfall should be in the forecast and you may want to take shelter, ella ay ay.
