A.J., Howie, Brian, and Nick are have returned with their new album “Unbreakable.” The Backstreet Boys are back.

The album is proof that the Backstreet Boys are more mature than ever. Kicking the young teen band sound and incorporating the image of suits on the album cover, these boys mean business.

The “Intro” and “Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon” are the perfect beginning and closing songs for the “Unbreakable” album with the message that the Backstreet Boys have returned and have brought all they have to the table.
“Everything But Mine” seems like a Justin Timberlake-style song mixed with techno artist Cascada.

“Something that I Already Know” brings back the familiar sound of 2000’s “Black and Blue” track “Shape of My Heart.” Although Backstreet Boys member Kevin has taken a break from the group to be with his family, the others make up for the lack of his vocal addition.

“Helpless When She Smiles” offers the more mature sound of the Backstreet Boys who have now become men. The song talks about how captivating the smile of a woman can be, saying, “I’m a house of cards in a hurricane.”

“Any Other Way” is the re-invented rendition of the title track Backstreet’s Back from the 1997 album. With a harsher vocal sound and a unique background beat, the song really moves.

“One in a Million” is the Backstreet Boys’ attempt to emulate Maroon 5. With a Latin beat and sound, there is also a little Ricky Martin in the mix. The tune has an exceptional message about trying to get a female to understand that she is beautiful and how frustrating it is when she fails to see that.

“Panic” is the typical boy band song that lingers between the line of pop and rap. This song is the most danceable on the album and perfect for rocking out in the car.

“Love Will Keep You Up All Night” is the sweetest song on the album. With the perfect explanation of how love is work, but well worth it. Having the most heartfelt vocals the song is better than any of the other 13 tracks.

With N’Sync out of the picture, the Backstreet Boys have more freedom to be themselves and offered an excellent album. This unbreakable group uses the album to bring back the 90s in 2000 and prove that they still have what it takes to be great. Their album is no disappointment to loyal fans.
