An NIU Huskie Bus was involved in an accident Monday evening.

According to a DeKalb Police report, at 6:55 p.m., the bus was traveling at the intersection of Varsity Boulevard and Pappas Drive when a southbound car slid through a stop sign into the intersection, causing the bus to strike the car.

No injuries were reported and no tickets were issued.

Varsity Boulevard traffic does not stop at the intersection, and Pappas Drive traffic must yield to Varsity traffic at the intersection.
