Track of the Day: "It's Tricky" by Run-D.M.C.
By KATIE TRUSK

Nothing makes the dancing folk get out on the floor like Run–D.M.C.’s “It’s Tricky.”
It doesn’t even matter if you can dance – the driving beat of the hook allows anyone to get down, even if their moves don’t make sense or look stylish.
While Run (aka Joseph Simmons) and D.M.C. (aka Darryl McDaniels) trade off rhyming on time, Jam Master Jay (aka Jason William Mizell), scratches away rocking a rhyme in this timeless track.
Throughout the rap, the group rhymes the troubles of trying to live a normal life while being in the spotlight.
Even with the girls named Carol following Darryl, his dad being bothered because he’s down with them and having to disprove the allegations of drug use, Run–D.M.C. comes out on top, proving they can still do their thing while getting major media hype.
Next time you’re at the bar, driving or having karoke fun time in your shower – test yourself on seeing how tricky it is to rock a rhyme on time by belting this at the top of your lungs – if you don’t know the words, just bust a move.
