Inboden's Meats Ltd. named DeKalb Chamber of Commerce business of the year

The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce named its business of the year last Thursday at the chamber’s annual meeting.

From eight nominees, Inboden’s Meats Ltd., 1106 N. First St., was named business of the year for 2007.

“I’m really honored,” said Tom Inboden, owner of Inboden’s Meats Ltd. “[It’s] a wonderful thing to have bestowed upon our company.”

Inboden’s Meats Ltd. has been in DeKalb since 1962 and met the the chamber’s requirements for the business of the year.

The judging criteria was based on business leadership, achievements, respect within the community and involvement within the community.
