The best ads of Super Bowl XLII
By PATRICK BATTLE

E-Trade: Not since “Ally McBeal’s” famous “dancing baby” has the infant demographic put in such serious work. The vomiting is also a plus.

T-Mobile: Veteran basketball player Charles Barkley puts Dwyane Wade in his cell phone’s top five. Little does he know that Barkley is nothing short of a stalker, calling Wade relentlessly to criticize his game and drop knowledge on the young man. (Who knew that HD stood for High-Definition?)

Bud Light: Who knew that Bud Light used to give people the ability to breathe fire? (Bud Light no longer gives the ability to breathe fire.)

FedEx: An office clerk displays his genius by employing carrier pigeons – giant pigeons with GPS and night vision – to run the mail system. We can all guess what the better alternative might have been.

Coca–Cola: A giant balloon of a Coke bottle is set loose during a parade and giant balloon versions of Stewie Griffin and Underdog float away in pursuit. But who comes out of nowhere and grabs the coveted prize? The one and only Charlie Brown, of course. Classic in every sense of the word.
