Man robbed on Kimberly Road

A DeKalb man was robbed while leaving work early Monday on the 800 block of Kimberly Road.

The victim was walking back to his car after work when he was approached by two suspects. One suspect pulled out a weapon and demanded the victim’s property. The victim handed over his property and the suspects ran into an apartment building at 823 Kimberly.

The victim was not injured, and there was a witness to the robbery, said Lt. Gary Spangler of the DeKalb Police Department.The first suspect is described as a short black female, 150 pounds, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is described a tall black male, 160 pounds, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt. Both suspects are described as being between 16 and 20 years old.
