Hospital confirms one death

Kishwaukee Community Hospital has confirmed one death in the shooting that occurred this afternoon.

Seventeen other victims remain at the hospital.

Six are in critical condition: two have been flown to OSF Saint Anthony Hospital in Rockford, three have been flown to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove and one has been flown to Rockford Memorial Hospital, according to the hospital’s Web site.

Three other victims have been discharged and two have been admitted to Kishwaukee Community Hospital.
