Letter to the Editor

I am responding to some of the memorials on and around campus. In two specific cases, there is a mistake.

In front of Cole Hall, there are six huskies for the memorial. In Tuesday’s edition of the Northern Star, specifically the comic “Microbabies and Friend,” there are six crosses.

As far as I am concerned, only five lives were tragically taken away from us that fateful day. We should continue to honor those five, and it is a big mistake to include the shooter in the memorials.
