New program lets students view schedule, contact info, more
By DAVID THOMAS

Students looking at the NIU home page on the Internet might have noticed another link in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Students can now access their MyNIU pages and will be able to see their personal information.

For example, the link labeled “Student Center” takes students to a personalized home page, giving them a summary of their class schedule, contact information and a to-do list.

Also featured are links to grades, degree progress and a class “wish list,” in which students can save classes of interest for future reference.

Not all of the information is online. For example, as of this article, students cannot access their degree progress report or their financial aid information.
