Do you think the media coverage of Barack Obama's campaign has been over the top? |

To Christine Aguirre:
I just want to say that I didn’t fail Steven Kazmierczak. How could I when I didn’t even know him? It’s unfair for you to say that NIU students, professors and administration failed him. First of all, he was on medication that he chose to stop taking. That’s not our fault. Second, he had psychological issues. Also not our fault. The only person to blame for what Steven did is Steven (and whatever “demons” he had). How dare you lay that blame on people who have been so affected by this? Apparently, the victims are partially to blame for what happened to them. They were students and, according to you, they failed him. You should be ashamed of yourself.
I do also have to say that while I agree with there only being five crosses and five Huskies, I do feel very bad for those who did know Steven and also for his family. I realize that the Steven they knew and loved was not the Steven who did this. I know that they are mourning too, and that is why I pray for them as well as everyone else who was affected by this.
