Police arrest man allegedly delivering drugs

A DeKalb man allegedly delivering drugs was arrested Sunday night while trespassing at University Village Apartments.

Keith Anderson, 24, of DeKalb was arrested while seen trespassing at 5:08 p.m. Sunday at University Village apartments in the 700 block of North Annie Glidden Road, police said.

Police recognized Anderson and knew he had a trespass notice for the apartments. Anderson allegedly attempted to run while being arrested and was stopped.

During the arrest, police found cocaine, cannabis and a scale commonly used for weighing drugs, said Lt. Gary Spangler of the DeKalb Police Department.

Anderson was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, trespassing and resisting a peace officer.
