Three-car collision on Lincoln Highway
By NORTHERN STAR STAFF

Three cars were involved in a collision near 810 W. Lincoln Highway at 1:50 p.m. Thursday.

A vehicle, driven by Leigh Ehlert, pulled out of McDonald’s lot and pulled in front of another car, said Sgt. James McDougall of the DeKalb Police Department.

The second vehicle, which was going west on Lincoln Highway, slammed on its brakes, veered to the left and went into the eastbound lane and struck a third car.

Ehlert’s vehicle was not hit or damaged but she was cited for failing to yield from a private drive.
No one was injured and all passengers were released at the scene.
