Rant: Shaq can't tame his tongue
If there’s one constant in sports, it’s that Shaq is talking.
This time it’s about his former team, the Miami Heat. Because O’Neal is always talking, he tends to trash his former team.
“We have professionals who know what to do,” O’Neal said about his new team, the Phoenix Suns. “No one is asking me to play with Chris Quinn or Ricky Davis.”
When Kobe and Shaq were going back and forth at each other, it felt like it was meant to happen. Two of the NBA’s biggest stars, each with their big egos, are going to clash when on the same team.
But Shaq going at Chris Quinn? Ricky Davis, maybe. At least some people know him. But Chris ‘6.2-point–per–game’ Quinn seems like an easy target.
If you’re going to throw someone under the bus, at least make sure we know who he is.
