The gentlemen of Sigma Nu are pleased to announce our 2nd Annual Powder-puff “Flagsnatch” Football Tournament. Our annual philanthropy event will take place on Sunday, April 27 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Teams will consist of 8 to 12 ladies with 7 players on the field at any given time.

There will be a $75 registration fee per team. Any organization interested in competing should send one or two representatives to our team captain’s meeting on Sunday April 13 at 5 p.m. located at the Sigma Nu house (829 Greenbrier Road).

During the tournament there will be food and entertainment provided. All proceeds from this event will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. For more information, please contact Chris Elsner at celsner1@niu.edu or 815-715-6573.

For their eighth year in a row, the brothers of Phi Sigma Kappa spent several hours Saturday cleaning up the garbage on Greek Row for their philanthropy event.

The fraternity started on the corner of Ridge and Blackhawk making their way up the streets through Greenbrier Road. Phi Sigma Kappa had nearly 90 volunteers and garbage bags filled after they finished the clean up later that afternoon.
