Rain forces ISU, NIU to cancel game
By NORTHERN STAR STAFF

Rain prevented the NIU baseball team from facing Illinois State on Tuesday night at Duffy Bass Field in Normal.

No makeup date has been announced for the game. This is the second consecutive Tuesday that NIU (12-15) and ISU (13-13) canceled a contest scheduled against each other.

Last week, a game scheduled in DeKalb between the Huskies and Redbirds was canceled due to cold weather. That game has been rescheduled for April 23 at NIU’s Ralph McKinzie Field.
NIU will be back in action Wednesday afternoon at Valparaiso (8-20) at 3 p.m.
