Plot: Capt. Jack “Lucky Jack” Aubrey (Crowe) is under direct orders to sail the HMS Surprise out to the coast of South America to attack the French ship Acheron during the Napoleonic Wars. Through hunger, hardship and stormy seas, Capt. Aubrey pushes his men past their limits as he stops at nothing to follow his orders.
