'Bowling for Breast Cancer' raised over $1,500
By LETTER WRITER

As a follow-up to the article featuring the ‘Bowling for Breast Cancer’ event, I would like to thank all of those who attended the event. In total, the students of NIU raised just over $1,500 the night of the event. We had just shy of 300 students from both the Residence Halls as well as those who live off campus.

I would like to give a special thanks to the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity for bringing almost one third of their membership right before we closed the doors. From the beginning of the night we had a crowd, and the crowd lasted all the way until 2 a.m. I would also like to thank those who sponsored our event: the Residence Hall Association, the Residence Halls, The Junction Eating Place, Factory Card.
