Tornado watch issued for DeKalb County until 8 p.m.
By NORTHERN STAR STAFF

The National Weather Sevice has issued a tornado watch for numerous counties in Northeastern Illinois, including DeKalb County.

The watch is in effect until 8 p.m. tonight.

DeKalb County is also under a severe thunderstorm watch until 6:30 p.m. tonight.

The storm is capable of producing quarter size hail with northeast winds at 45 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
