Northern Illinois' men's and women's tennis teams were knocked out of the MAC Championships Friday by Western Michigan.

Over on the men's side, NIU was in it until the end as the Broncos pulled out the 4-3 victory in Rockford. Western Michigan will face the winner of Ball State and Toledo in Saturday's championship.

NIU women's tennis ended their regular season with a 4-0 loss to the Broncos in the MAC tournament in Buffalo.
