Student volunteers from Lutheran Campus Ministry handed out free hot dogs Wednesday on the corner of Normal and Lucinda.

The Luteran Campus Ministry (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) is located at 401 Normal Road.

“We are giving out hot dogs for the sole purpose of letting people know we’re here,” Diane Dardon, Luteran Campus Ministry Campus Pastor, said.

In addition to free hot dogs, the event served to inform NIU students about what Lutheran Campus Ministry has to offer.

Recently, Lutheran Campus Ministry added Wi-Fi as an additional incentive to use the building as a good place to study, Dardon said.

Did you attend the NIU football game vs. Eastern Michigan University Thursday night?
Yes. Of course.
No, I couldn't make it.
I wish.
I don't even know what a football looks like.
