Letter writer says mail issue on campus is significant
By LETTER WRITER

Congratulations on your article appearing in your April 24 issue. I am a parent of a freshman living in Lincoln Hall. Mail has been reported missing on several occasions, and YES, this is a real issue on the campus of NIU. Always, the missing mail was easily identifiable as being personal, greeting cards, etc.

I am certain that the mail was stolen and the contents were being sought. This federal offense should be viewed as such, and not taken lightly. Keep up the good work at making this information public and maybe something will be done to correct this disturbing situation.
