Rant: The bottom 10
By

A loss to Iowa was expected. But a loss to Division 1-AA Southern Illinois wasn’t. At least that’s what the football geniuses over at ESPN think.

With the Huskies off to their third straight 0-2 start, this time in surprising fashion, ESPN put them on their bottom 10 list as the eighth worst team in the country.

But don’t worry. The Huskies have company in the MAC.

MAC newcomer Temple tops out the list at No. 1 after opening its schedule with blow-out losses to Navy and Buffalo. Eastern Michigan is right there at No. 6, but even they are ranked higher than Michigan, who was put at No. 5 on the most important list in college football.

Even Notre Dame made the rankings as the 10th worst. As for the Huskies, they’ll have the opportunity to break out of the bottom 10 this Saturday when they host EMU, who, according to ESPN, is a slightly worse team.

Hey, at least the MAC is finally getting some recognition.
