Thanks for participating in Israel at 60

To all of the organizations that participated in Israel at 60, the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, the JCRC/Hillel Israel Initiative, Hillel Jewish Student Organization and StandWithUs, I would like to thank them for their support of our Israel at 60 program. Over the course of Thursday afternoon, over 200 students, faculty and community members participated in celebrating the State of Israel’s 60th birthday. It is so nice that in a country such as ours, we can celebrate another nation that was a place of refuge for those who were vicitmized by the Holocaust, is a true democracy that lives by the rule of law and also is a modern, thriving economy. Thanks again for all those who showed their support.
