NIU catcher Justin Behm was named to the All-MAC first team on Wednesday at the MAC Tournament Convention. This is the fifth consecutive year a Huskie has been named to the first team squad.

Closer Andy Deain, pitcher Trevor Feeney, and left fielder Jeff Thomas all were named to the All-MAC second team.

"Extending the streak of first team selections at Northern Illinois, especially in a season with tough competition for those spots, bodes well for our program," said head coach Ed Mathey. "To have four players among the 30 honored in a 12-team league is a compliment to our team and how well we played this season."

The Huskies (27-24 overall) face Kent State in the second round of the MAC Tournament on Thursday.
