Dumpster fire melts signs, consumes most of the dumpster

A fire consumed most of a dumpster on 1000 W. Lincoln Highway Saturday, melting signs for local businesses. Two fire engines responded to the blaze.

“In the end, it was pretty much maintained by the first engine and ended up not being much of an event,” said Assistant Fire Chief Bruce Harrison.
