University Police Blotter: Sept. 4

The following was taken directly from the University Police log using the fullest information provided. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law. The University Police Department provides police reports on the Web at finfacil.niu.edu/PublicSafety.

Sept. 1
• Obstructing justice between 10:48 p.m. Aug. 31 and 1 a.m. Sept. 1. Arrested was Michael Nix, 20, of Chicago. Case cleared on adult arrest.

Sept. 2
• Criminal damage to property between 12:30 and 9:14 a.m., at Lot X. Case is pending investigation.

• Theft $300 and under between noon on Aug. 23 and noon on Aug. 25 at Neptune Central. Case is pending investigation.

• Theft $300 and under between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Stevenson Complex. Case is administratively closed.

• Residential burglary at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Grant South. Case is pending investigation.
