The next decade of “Top Model” has begun.

Yep, Tyra said it herself; she’s preparing the world for another 10 cycles. The world needs 10 more cycles of strutting, twig dolls calling themselves “Mother Teresa, but in a diva sort of way,” eloquently put by Dominique from Cycle 10.

This season, however, the plus-size model craze is dead. Whitney won Cycle 10, and it appears Tyra needed new shock value to spike those ratings.

Isis, 22, is this season’s transgender contestant.. So convinced she had talent, Tyra convinced her to return to the show but as a contestant.

New faces are a plus, but the attitudes still suck. Blonde-haired, blue-eyed Clark, 19, said if it came between her and Isis, she’d “stomp that man right out of the competition.”

Sorry, I guess I forgot there wasn’t a checkbox for tact-on the top model application.

And then there’s the comic relief. This cycle’s theme is technology, and “TyraBot” is in need of a pet now more than ever. Talking like a computer and “fiercely” beaming up and out of the scene, the CW producers are scraping rock bottom.

Speaking of rock bottom, the contestant pool is remarkably...special. Sharaun, 18, wads her lucky underwear into a ball in her hand at all times. Samantha, 18, said she wanted to change the modeling industry. When Tyra asked her to name five models currently working, crickets were cued. Clark, atop the world’s largest soapbox, said, “I’ve always seen myself as exceptional to other people.”

As usual, during the initial interview process, the girls spew model tear droplets over wanting to share their beauty with the world.

Yeah, I’ve only heard that one about 97 times. Wait until judging when “industry experts” tell you you’re a waste of film.

In 10 cycles, Tyra has yet to crank out a bona fide super model. Seems Cycle 11 is going to be yet another drama-soaked season.

Bring out the soapbox.
