junior, finance major

1. What are your goals for the Student Association?
If elected, I will work with faculty to fund chapter textbooks. I will help college organizations boost membership and become more effective. I would also like to raise more interest in the SA and the decisions they make.

2. What qualifications do you have to represent the student body of NIU?
As student trustee at Highland Community College, I helped negotiate faculty contracts, elected a new college president, and implemented a new payscale. I also served on the Illinois Community College Board Student Advisory Committee fighting for cheaper textbooks and more capital spending in the state budget for education.

3. What in particular can you offer the student body in this position?
I have a wide range of knowledge and experience that helps me make better and more informed decisions. My background also helps me have a clear and realistic vision for the future and will allow me to help move NIU forward.
