1. What are your goals for the Student Association?
My goals are as follows: 1) foster greater student involvement in the SA; 2) improve communication between the SA and the student body; 3) ensure that quality transportation remains a top priority; 4) work with CAB to bring more high quality events to campus; 5) increase quality of educational/career services; 6) encourage greater student political involvement and awareness; 7) bridge gaps between the many racial, ethnic, cultural, political, and religious groups on campus; 8) help revive the Greek system; 9) work with local government leaders to improve community; 10) improve quality of housing and dining; 11) ensure NIU remains ahead of the technological curve; 12) ensure proper fiscal management.

2. What qualifications do you have to represent the student body of NIU?
NIU College Republicans (2005-present)– First Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Volunteer Director; Volunteer (2005-present) – numerous political campaigns (Hastert, Oberweis, Pritchard, etc.); Planning Intern, Village of Algonquin (2005-present) – drafted long-range planning documents, made recommendations to boards and committees, led community events, communicated with citizenry and public officers; reviewed residential and commercial development plans.

3. What in particular can you offer the student body in this position?
I can offer real action and real results, as demonstrated in my work as mentioned above. I plan to bring my good communication skills, knowledge of local government, volunteer experience, political experience, and big ideas and bold solutions to the student senate and serve my fellow students and my school well. I am well aware of the problems NIU faces and will work to fix them.
