Vin Diesel's comeback proves disappointing

Things must be getting pretty desperate for Vin Diesel nowadays.

As he once was a popular action star hunk, he now is left picking up the scraps from his old successes, in the attempts for a comeback.

After his most recent box-office flop “Babylon AD,” rumors have surfaced that Diesel is set to reprise his role as Xander Cage in the next “xXx” movie. Yes, they are actually spending money to make another one. The first one was bad enough, with only the halfway decent action sequences to keep the otherwise terrible movie afloat. Then we had to sit through “xXx: State of the Union” with Ice Cube, which was so horrible it doesn’t even need a description. Vin Diesel knew when to jump ship on this one, but why is he trying so hard to jump back on?

If anyone was bored, or procrastinated enough to rent the movie when it was re-released in the “Unrated Director’s Cut” version, perhaps you recall the short that was added. In this edition, which came out before “State of the Union” producers added a short called “The Death of Xander Cage” depicting just that. So not only is Vin Diesel crawling back to do one more film as Xander Cage, he’s going to have to find a way to get his character to crawl out of his grave.
Though he should note, the zombie fad was back in 2004, so it’s a little late to try and bring that back too.
