The girly movie of the year is out on DVD Tuesday.

In honor of Sarah Jessica Parker, New York, and everything designer-made, here are the five most notable episodes.

1) “The Real Me” – Season four, episode two – Carrie is selected as one of New York City’s most fashionable “normal people” and is asked to model in a fashion show. While she melts at the news she’ll be wearing Dolce & Gabbana, her fierce runway walk ultimately results in the infamous line: “Oh my God! She’s fashion roadkill!” She picks herself up, however, and struts her way through to the finale. Moral of the story: Real people pick themselves up when they fall down. If nothing else, it’s one of the funniest episodes in the series.

2) “No Ifs, Ands, or Butts” – Season three, episode five – Carrie goes on a one-on-one date with Aidan. The date goes so well that the date turns into an entire day together. Any other girl would see the entirely fortunate nature of such a scenario. Carrie, however, is forced to choose: Aidan or her cigarettes. Moral of the story: Smoking’s bad!

3) “Plus One Is The Loneliest Number” Season five, episode five – Carrie celebrates the release of her book with a party. It’s sexy, social and sadly very single. She invites fellow author Jack Burger to be her “plus one,” but he declines, saying his girlfriend’s family is visiting and he can’t go. Samantha, wanting to look as young and fresh for the party, opts for a chemical peel for her face, which leaves her face skinless for the party.

4) “One” Season six, episode 12 – Carrie goes with Charlotte to see a woman’s live performance art piece, where she meets Alexsandr Petrovsky. Samantha battles gray hair in her nether regions and opts for a dye job. Steve and Miranda throw a birthday party for one-year-old Brady. In the end, Miranda and Steve profess their love for each other in her laundry room.

5) “An American Girl in Paris: Part Deux” Season six, episode 20 – After following Miranda’s order to “Go get our girl,” Big flies to Paris in the hope of winning back Carrie. In the meantime, Carrie meets with Alexandr’s ex-wife, Juliette, who indirectly tells her she’s getting into a life of playing second fiddle to his art. The ultimate whisk-away is the perfect ending to a series that epitomized the single woman and settling only for the best.
