DeKalb High freshman still missing
By NORTHERN STAR STAFF

A 14-year-old DeKalb girl is still missing as of Tuesday.

Brittney Studway, a freshman at DeKalb High School, was last seen on her way to Welsh Park frp, University Village Apartments in DeKalb last Thursday evening, said her mother, Dorothy Studway.

The missing girl, who stands 5-foot-2 inches and weighs about 120 pounds, has also been known to spend time at the Amber Manor Apartments.

The DeKalb Police Department was notified Sunday afternoon and is currently investigating her disappearence. Flyers are being distributed around the area this week by DeKalb police.

Police do not suspect any foul play at this point, but it seems likely that someone else is involved because of the amount of time she has been missing, said Lt. Jim Kayes of the DeKalb Police Department.

Anyone with information regarding Brittney Studway’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the DeKalb Police Department at 815-748-8400.
