Did you get caught in the snow coming back from vacation? |

I am a paraplegic from the Vietnam War living in Sycamore since I was three years old. I have three children and found that, after my youngest child went to school, I had “empty nest syndrome.”
My wife and I called many businesses to see if we could find something for me to do. No one needed me or could use me even on a volunteer basis. Then my wife thought of Maureen Josh, since they go to the same church. Maureen called me the next morning and asked me if I would like to come in for an interview. I was hired on the spot and started working the next day. I have been working now for her for 10 years. Maureen is a hard worker, trying to get everything done in a 24-hour-day. She goes out of her way to help.
I happened to get sick and ended up in the VA hospital in Maywood. I was in for many months and my family could not get any information from the doctors or hospital about my condition or when I would be released. Maureen took the day off and drove to Hines Hospital to be an advocate for us. She got things moving and organized and within a couple of weeks I was released from the hospital and back at home. Maureen goes above and beyond to get things done and done right.
I am happy to say that she is my friend and I will be voting for her in November. I strongly recommend that you vote for her too.
