Police are looking for a Sycamore man reported missing Monday evening.

Andrew R. Whiting, 27, was last seen at Pete’s Castle Gas Station, 104 W. Main St. at about 1:47 p.m., according to a DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Whiting is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 185 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.

Whiting was driving a 2000 gold or tan four-door Ford Focus sedan with license plate number X989226. The car has a large dent in the driver’s side door.

Whiting lives in Sycamore, but has relatives in the rural Kingston area, according to the release.

There is no indication of foul play currently, said DeKalb County Sheriff Roger Scott.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office at 815-895-2155.
