Candidate for DeKalb County Coroner
Name: Dennis J. Miller
Age: 51
Hometown: Sandwich
Background: DeKalb County Coroner since 1984, served as DeKalb County Coroner for five years and member of Illinois Coroners and Medical Examiners Association since 1979, where he served as president in 1992 and is currently serving as treasurer.
Education: He attended Waubonsee Community College for business administration. He has attended and continues to attend several courses on Forensic Death Investigation. These courses are held throughout the state and country.
Miller is running unopposed for the position.
“I look forward to continuing to serve all the people of DeKalb County with compassion, professionalism and integrity,” Miller said.
