July 10
• At 12:28 p.m., a criminal sexual assault that reportedly occurred in August 2005 was reported. Case was closed at the victim’s request.

Sept. 27
• At 4 p.m., a criminal sexual assault that reportedly occurred in Douglas Hall was reported. Case was closed at the victim’s request.

Oct. 24
• At 8:09 p.m., a physical altercation at the NIU Recreation Center was reported when an individual refused to exit the building at closing time. After being told he was trespassing, the offender became argumentative and pushed the attendant. No charges have been filed. Case is pending.

Oct. 9
• At 11:07 p.m., a criminal sexual assault was reported in Grant North. University Police investigated. On Nov. 4, case was closed due to a lack of evidence.

Nov. 3
• At 1:11 a.m., victim reported a cell phone theft at the Recreation Center. The victim left his cell phone in a sweatshirt on the sidelines while he played basketball. When he was finished playing, the cell phone was gone. After searching the area, the victim reported the theft. Case is pending.

Nov. 4
• At 4:23 p.m., victim reported the theft of his wallet from Grant North. The victim said he had finished a conversation with a group of people when he noticed his wallet was missing. Incidentally, two weeks before the theft, the victim noticed suspicious activity on one of the cards in his wallet. The victim believes the debit card was removed, used and returned to the wallet. There are no suspects. Case is closed.
