Last week, NIU had three wrestlers win titles and two finish second at the Pointer Open.

This week, NIU faces its first dual meet, heading to West Lafayette, Ind., for the Boilermaker
Duals. The Huskies will have three meets, and standing in their way will be Campbellsville, Tennessee-Chattanooga and Purdue.

“It’s exciting to get things rolling as a team,” said NIU head coach Dave Grant. “We’re still looking hard to develop the best team possible.”

The Huskies will be without Pat McLemore at 141 pounds due to an injury, as well as redshirt Steve Zimmerman.

NIU gets started with Campbellsville at 11 a.m., Tennessee-Chattanooga at 3 p.m. and Purdue at 5 p.m.
