Woman dies of accident related injuries

A DeKalb woman, who was involved in a car versus tractor accident on Oct. 27, died Wednesday of accident related injuries, according to a Winnebago County Coroner’s Office news release.

Mary Coleman, 52, died of blunt force of the head and neck at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, where she had been a patient at since the accident, the release said.

No traces of drugs or alcohol were found in her system, according to toxicology tests results. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Police handled the crash, according to the release.
