Officials seek information related to reckless conduct on University Road Bridge

Two incidents were reported of reckless conduct where items were thrown off of the University Road Bridge to hit cars driving on Interstate 88, according to a Dec. 1 Crime Stoppers release.

The first incident was reported Oct. 9 around 8 p.m. by an I-88 driver who saw someone throwing items off the bridge to hit cars. On Nov. 20, a similar incident was reported around 9 p.m, according to the release.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 815-895-3272. Calls can be anonymous and a reward is available up to $1,000.
