A former Wal-Mart employee was arrested for her alleged role in an armed robbery at the store in early September.

Doraelia Romero, 31, of Plano, turned herself in on a warrant for armed robbery to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 26. The warrant was issued for her alleged role in an armed robbery Sept. 9 at the store, 2300 Sycamore Road.

Romero was employed with Wal-Mart during the time of the robbery, but was not working the night the store was robbed, said DeKalb Police Lt. Gary Spangler. Romero was involved in the planning of the robbery, but a different suspect entered the store, Spangler said.

Romero was later released after posting the $2,500 bond.

On Sept. 9 at about 1:45 a.m., Robert Storball, 26, of Chicago, allegedly entered the store and confronted an employee working in the office with a handgun. Storball then reportedly took cash and left the store in a dark colored vehicle that was parked nearby, and drove east on County Farm Road.

Only Storball entered the store, but three other suspects were also involved in the planning and execution of the robbery.

Storball and Jason M. Alejos, 25, of Chicago, are still wanted on warrants for armed robbery. Richard E. Rogers, 27, of Chicago, who also had a warrant for armed robbery, was arrested Oct. 29.

Storball and Alejos are believed to be in the Chicago area, Spangler said.
