“Queen Sized”
Although Lifetime movies may get a lot of flack, “Queen Sized” is the exception to the rule. Nikki Blonsky shows she has more than just singing talent through her serious role in a film about the first overweight homecoming queen. Maggie proves that people should be measured by the size of their heart, and that true beauty is more than skin-deep in this touching film.

“Lost”
After two mediocre seasons, “Lost” is back on par with the superior first season. More happens in the 14 fourth-season episodes than seasons two and three combined.

“SNL”
NBC’s sketch comedy show has been on for years, with its share of hits and misses. This year, Lorne and his players have come back bigger and better than ever. Even though a favorite like Amy Poehler left the show, her memorable portrayal of Hillary Clinton, along with Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin, made people keep up on politics just to get the jokes.

“The Office”
After a slow start, “The Office” made a comeback this year and the laughs kept on coming. Jim and Pam are engaged, Dwight hoards then sells dolls and Ryan somehow works for Dunder Mifflin again. The fifth season is a step up and definitely worth tuning into.

“It’s Always Sunny...”
Of all the raunchy comedy shows, “Sunny” was undoubtedly the best this year. The characters never cease to shock their audience with unimaginable idiocy and hatred toward each other. Every episode of this year was hysterical and provided evidence that this show is a serious contender for best comedy on TV.
