The WOMEN’S RESOURCE CENTER is hosting “Hot Cocoa, Hot Women and Hot Trade Practices” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Women’s Resource Center. The event is free. For more information, contact Jamie Bolarat (815) 753-0320.

The DEKALB COUNTY YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU is hosting an Active Parenting of Teens class from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Youth Service Building at 330 Grove St. in DeKalb. The class is a six-week parenting class that costs $50. This includes a workbook. For more information, contact Lisa Pisha at lpisha@dcysb.com or (815) 748-2010.
