Crimestoppers looking for church robber

Crimestoppers is seeking information on a robbery. On Jan. 14, a robbery occurred at the DeKalb First Church Pantry. The offender asked the victim for change and when the victim produced money the offender took the victim’s money and fled. The offender is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, black hair, weighing between 200 and 250 pounds, having a large build. The offender was wearing a black Carhartt jacket, brown Carhartt pants and a black stocking cap. The offender drove a Ford Explorer SUV, red in color with a black interior.

If you have any information about this crime, or person(s) involved, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at 815-895-3272 or e-mail crimestoppers@dekalbcounty.org. You do not have to give your name. Crimestoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 and you can remain anonymous.
