Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a fraud. Two suspects, a black male and a black female, used fraudulent identification to cash counterfeit checks and obtain cashier’s checks at a few local banks.

One suspect presented false identification at the bank that identified them as an account holder. The suspect cashed a counterfeit check and then had a cashier’s check drawn on the victim’s account.

The second suspect then went to another bank and cashed the cashier’s check.

If you have any information about this crime or person(s) involved, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 815-895-3272 or e-mail CrimeStoppers@DeKalbCounty.org.
