University Police Blotter: Thursday, Feb. 10

At 1:20 a.m., a victim reported someone damaged the mirror on his vehicle while it was parked in Lot J. Case is pending.

At 4:47 p.m., a student returning to Neptune East reported being followed by a male student. The student safely entered her room and called a friend who came over. The friend observed a male who exhibited lewd behavior outside the student’s door and then left. Case is pending.

At 9:14 p.m., University Police responded to a call from the Holmes Student Center in regard to someone violating an order of protection. Officers arrested Dontaye M. Stewart, 20, of Rockford. Officers booked Stewart at the NIU Police Department, where he was later transported to DeKalb County Jail.
