In the spirit of the Communiversity Cares Initiative and the theme, “We are all one Communiversity,” District 428 and DeKalb High School, 1515 S. Fourth St., invite NIU students and staff to attend the DHS boys’ basketball game versus Glenbard South High School tonight.

Both high schools have agreed to forego the traditional high school colors at the game to wear red, black and white.

Students or staff who show an NIU ID will be admitted to the game for free.

The Communiversity Cares Initiative began as a comprehensive response of support from the communities of DeKalb and Sycamore. The initiative helped promote community-wide projects including Huskies on Parade, window posters, lapel ribbons and comfort cookies.
