Former administrator at Drexel University in Philadelphia Jennifer Rosato was named the new dean at the NIU College of Law.

Rosato will take her post at NIU on July 1. She served as the acting dean for the first year of Drexel's law school.

NIU President John Peters is glad to have Rosato in DeKalb.

“This was a long and deliberate search. We were looking for an individual with exceptional skills, high energy and personal charisma to build on the strengths of the college and elevate its profile. In Dean Rosato we have found that person,” says Peters in a news release, who will recommend her to the NIU Board of Trustees later this spring.
