University Police Blotter: April 1

It was a campaign predicated on the notion of change that gave Barack Obama the presidency.
With the beginning of every sports fan’s Christmas looming today, it appears that forward or outside thinking was the only thing missing when Obama made his picks for the NCAA Tournament yesterday.
Not counting any game in which the teams’ seeds are right next to each other - because that just doesn’t count as an upset - Obama has three total upsets in his bracket. I’m going to repeat that one time for posterity’s sake.
Three total upsets.
One of these upsets was a stretch for him, drawing a huge question mark next to Temple in its second-round space. A forward-thinking, risk-taking politician? Smells fishy.
How can Obama claim bipartisanship when he continually sides with the favored team throughout six rounds of basketball? I’m crying foul.
I suppose I should expect no less. When I first looked at the president’s picks, I saw he had North Carolina pegged as his national champion.
I call into question the credibility of any self-respecting Illinois citizen who can pick North Carolina to win anything, ever.
